In Merge Dragons, when you play a level and win, the loot you get to keep mainly includes coins, dragon stars (occasionally), and various objects like life flowers or fruit tree saplings. You can even snag a dragon egg if you're lucky! However, the key thing to remember is that most resources you gather or dragons you use don't come back with you to camp; they stay in the level. Only rewards shown at the end of the level screen are yours to keep.

You pretty much get to keep the rewards you earn at the victory screen, including gems, coins, and sometimes special items or even dragon eggs. But don't expect your dragons to carry all the land's treasures back to camp. Just the shiny end-of-level loot!
Honestly, it's mostly about the coins and the occasional rare item for me. Managed to snag a dragon egg once - best level loot ever!
Rewards only! Dragons come back, but the goodies they harvested in the level stay there. Would be cool to keep it all, but hey, that's the game.
