It's short for Discipline, basically how good a player is at not swinging at junk outside the strike zone.

In MLB The Show, DISC stands for Discipline, which measures a player's ability to check their swing and avoid swinging at bad pitches.

Discipline, plain and simple. Helps your batter not chase those wild pitches.

DISC means Discipline. It's key for hitters who want to avoid striking out on those tricky outside pitches!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
