What does donating to the museum do in Stardew Valley?
Donating to the museum in Stardew Valley is the way to go if you're a completionist or just love unlocking neat stuff. Every time you donate a new item, not only do you get to fill in the museum's collection, making it look more impressive, but you also get rewards from Gunther, the curator. These can range from seeds to unique furniture and even rare artifacts! Plus, after donating a certain number of items, you'll unlock the Sewing Machine and the Rusty Key, which opens up new areas and crafting opportunities. It's like hitting a piñata filled with goodies every time you donate!

Don't bother with the museum, just sell everything. Who needs decorations when you can have cold, hard cash?
Honestly, donating to the museum was one of my fav parts of Stardew Valley. It's super satisfying to see all the empty slots fill up, and the rewards are pretty sweet. Plus, it gives you an extra goal to work towards aside from your farm. 10/10 would recommend museum donations to anyone!
