Security Intel in GTA 5 is pretty awesome, it's part of the Casino Heist update. Basically, it gives you a leg up by providing additional insight into the security systems of the Diamond Casino. This means you'll see all the locations of cameras and get a heads-up on the guard positions. Makes pulling off the heist smoother!

So, from personal experience, Security Intel definitely made my heist attempts go more smoothly. Seeing the security camera locations and where the guards are ahead of time? Priceless. It's like having the cheat codes to the casino's security!
