It means you need to manually input the Wi-Fi network name because it’s not showing up in the list. Happens sometimes—no biggie!

When Xbox asks you to 'Specify SSID,' it wants you to manually enter the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to. Just type in your network’s name and you’re good to go!

SSID is just the fancy term for your Wi-Fi network's name. Enter it manually if your Xbox can't find it automatically.

Been there! 'Specify SSID' means your Xbox wants to know the exact name of your Wi-Fi network. Just type it in, like you're telling a secret!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
