Stage 1 is basically the teenager phase of a Pokemon card. You can't just throw it down straight from your hand; it needs to evolve from its basic form on the field. No skipping steps in the Pokemon world!

Stage 1 on a Pokemon card means it's the first evolution of a basic Pokemon. So, you gotta have the matching Basic Pokemon first before you can play a Stage 1 card onto the field. Think of it like leveling up your Pokemon in the video games. You start with a Charmander (Basic), then boom, it evolves into Charmeleon (Stage 1).

Stage 1? Overrated. Real strategy is in using those Basic cards right. Stage 1 is just a middle step.

It's just evolution, man. Basic Pokemon evolve into Stage 1. It's like going from kid to awkward teen, but with cooler powers.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
