Honestly, just stick to the official Pokémon TCG. It's designed to be balanced and fun, with a ton of strategies to explore. Why fix what isn't broken?

Tried playing a sort of Pokémon 'Go Fish' with my younger cousins using Pokémon cards. Basically, we asked for specific Pokémon or types, and if the other player didn't have it, we had to draw from the deck. Surprisingly fun and a great way to get the kids into the game!

Beyond the classic Pokémon Trading Card Game battles, there are plenty of fun variations to play with Pokémon cards. You can create your own mini-games, like a Pokémon version of 'war' where each player flips a card from the top of their deck, and the higher HP or attack value wins. Another popular choice is a Pokémon card version of 'memory' where you lay cards face down and try to match pairs. Let your imagination lead the way!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
