She got a major glow-up thanks to a Devil Fruit! Basically, she went from the 'Iron Mace' Alvida we first meet who couldn't stand being called ugly to a slick, attack-dodging beauty. Now, she's rolling with Buggy and causing a ruckus.

She ate a fruit and got pretty. Still hangs with Buggy.

Alvida, the pirate captain known for her iron mace and disdain for being called ugly, undergoes a significant transformation in One Piece. After consuming the Sube Sube No Mi, a Devil Fruit, she becomes super slippery, making all attacks simply slide off her, and drastically changes her appearance to become more conventionally attractive. She reappears as an ally of Buggy and plays a part in the Impel Down and Marineford arcs, showcasing her new abilities and partnership with Buggy.

If you're a One Piece fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
