Envy's death in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is heartbreakingly poetic. He ends up taking his own life after realizing that humans have what he could never have: genuine relationships and emotions.

In Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Envy meets his end after a final confrontation with Roy Mustang. Envy can't handle the emotional turmoil and chooses to end his own life by pulling out his Philosopher's Stone. Talk about an identity crisis!

Envy turns into a tiny, pathetic creature and then ends it all. Rough fate for a shapeshifter with such a big ego!

In the original 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist series, Envy's fate is completely different! He transforms into a dragon and ends up in our world. Plot twist, right?
