Fairy type Pokemon cards got axed from the TCG, my dudes. Basically, in the Sword and Shield series, they decided to simplify things and merged Fairy types into Psychic. So, if you're looking for new Fairy Pokemon, check under Psychic now. RIP Fairy types, you were too sparkly for this world.

Fairy Type Pokemon cards were discontinued starting with the Sword & Shield series. It's not just that they stopped making them, but any new Fairy-type Pokemon that would've been Fairy is now considered Psychic. It kinda streamlines the types, making deck building a bit less of a headache.

They didn鈥檛 just disappear! Fairy types got the boot to simplify gameplay and align more closely with the main series games. Now, Fairy types are part of the Psychic roster. No more Fairy energy cards either, so stock up if you're a collector!

Game over for Fairy types, they're officially part of Pok茅mon history. Now you'll find what used to be Fairy types chilling in the Psychic section. Guess it's one less type to worry about when you're building your next winning deck.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
