After Lelouch takes down Schneizel, Kanon falls under Lelouch's Geass command and has to serve him. Not the best day for our guy Kanon.

Honestly, Kanon's story is kinda sidelined once he's Geassed by Lelouch. He just becomes another puppet in the grand scheme of things.
