What Happens in Year 4 of Stardew Valley?
In year 4 of Stardew Valley, it's business as usual but with a twist. You've likely established a solid farm and routine by then. Grandpa evaluates your progress at the start of year 3, but don't worry, you can actually trigger this evaluation again by placing a Diamond in Grandpa's Shrine if you want to improve your score. There are no specific events that only happen in year 4, but it's a great time to complete any unfinished quests, max out relationships with villagers, or achieve any personal milestones you've set for yourself.

Year 4 is basically free play mode in Stardew Valley. You've seen most of what the game has to offer by then, but the fun doesn't stop. It's a perfect time to experiment with farm layouts, dive deeper into the mines, or chase after those elusive achievements. Stardew Valley doesn't really have an end, so Year 4 is what you make of it!
Year 4? That's when you realize you're hopelessly addicted to this farming sim and can't put it down. Just kidding… or am I? Seriously, it’s more about setting your own goals at that point. Stardew Valley keeps going, and so can your farming empire.
