Actually, 'shaman' isn't a term they really use in Jujutsu Kaisen. They're called Jujutsu Sorcerers. These folks use their own cursed energy to take down Curses. Kinda like ghostbusters but with more stylish combat moves.

Shamans? More like the coolest kids on the block. Jujutsu Sorcerers battle it out with evil spirits using cursed energy. Without them, the world of Jujutsu Kaisen would be overrun by Curses in no time!

In Jujutsu Kaisen, a shaman (also known as a Jujutsu Sorcerer) is someone who can manipulate cursed energy to fight against Curses, the malevolent entities born from human negative emotions. They're like the badass, supernatural exterminators of the Jujutsu world, going toe-to-toe with all sorts of creepy creatures to protect folks like us.
