The max level a dweller can reach in Fallout Shelter is 50. Once they hit that level, they can't gain any more XP, but they can still be useful! Keep them around for their skills and maybe equip them with some epic gear to make your vault the envy of the wasteland.

Level 50 is where it caps out. And let me tell ya, getting a dweller to level 50 makes them a real wasteland warrior. Upgrading their gear and assigning them to the right rooms makes all the difference.
Max level's 50, folks. After that, it's all about the outfits and weapons. Because let's face it, a level 50 dweller with a BB gun isn't scaring anyone.
