Playing Valheim with Vulkan means running the game using the Vulkan API instead of DirectX. It's an option that can potentially improve performance, especially on systems with AMD GPUs. You can enable it by selecting 'Play Valheim using Vulkan' when you launch the game from Steam.

Switching to Vulkan in Valheim might give you better frame rates and less stuttering, especially if your graphics card likes it more than DirectX. Just click 'Play Valheim with Vulkan' in the Steam launcher!

All you do is click the 'Play Valheim with Vulkan' option in Steam. Works like a charm on my AMD card!

Honestly, Vulkan didn't make much of a difference for me. Your mileage may vary.

If you've got an AMD GPU, Vulkan could be your new BFF in Valheim. Hit the 'Play Valheim using Vulkan' button in Steam and enjoy the possible boost!
