Pokemon card centering refers to how evenly the front image of the card is printed within its borders. It's a big deal for collectors because perfect centering can significantly increase a card's value and appeal. Imagine a picture perfectly framed vs. one that's too far to the left or right. Collectors often use the term when assessing a card's condition for grading.

It's literally how centered the picture is on the card. Perfectly centered = more $$$ if you're looking to sell or grade.

Had a card graded once and it got a lower score cuz of off-centering. Can confirm, centering matters a ton in grading.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but unless you're really into collecting or selling, centering might not matter much to you. Play the game and have fun!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
