Robin's backstory is super tragic, yet super important. She's the sole survivor of the island of Ohara, which was obliterated by the World Government. Why? Because they were getting too close to the truth about the world's forbidden history through their research on Poneglyphs. As a kid, Robin already had a bounty on her head just for surviving. She spent her life on the run, joining various crews for survival until she met Luffy and the Straw Hats. Her dream is to find the true history of the world written on the Poneglyphs.

Honestly, Robin's story seems a bit overhyped. Yeah, she had it tough, but so did lots of other characters. Her unique skill set and knowledge make her crucial to the Straw Hats, though.

If you're a One Piece fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
