Scrubbing in Splatoon 2 is basically resetting the abilities on your gear. You pay Murch some cash and he wipes them clean, letting you start fresh!

Scrub-a-dub-dub, Murch in the hub! You pay him to clear the slots on your gear so you can roll new abilities.
