Hot take: Flame fruit is the best. Simpler, yes, but those AoE attacks burn through enemies like butter.
The Venom fruit is top-notch. Once awakened, it deals crazy amounts of poison damage and has some of the best crowd control abilities in the game.
My vote is for the Dragon fruit. Transform into a dragon and wreak havoc. Who doesn’t want to breathe fire and look cool doing it?
Having tried a bunch of them, I gotta say the Light fruit is incredible. Speedy travel and powerful light-based attacks make it super versatile!
