What is the best mage weapon in Terraria?
I'm gonna throw a curveball and say the Razorblade Typhoon. Sure, Last Prism is all flashy and powerful, but Razorblade Typhoon's homing projectiles and lower mana cost make it super useful for both bosses and crowd control. Plus, it's easier on your mana pool.
