The main difference is that GX cards, introduced in the Sun & Moon series, come with a powerful GX move that can only be used once per game. EX cards, from earlier series, don't have this restriction but aren't as powerful overall. Plus, GX cards tend to have more HP and often more impactful abilities compared to EX cards. So, if you're looking for a game-changer move, GX is your go-to, but for consistent strength, EX cards are still pretty cool.

Honestly, GX cards are just cooler. They got better art and the GX move is a game maker (or breaker).

GX cards = 1 big move per game. EX cards = no such limit but generally weaker. Simple as that.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
