If you're on Xbox or PlayStation, press and hold the right stick (R3) to enable free look. Keeps your vehicle steady while you scout the area.
Just use the mouse! Hold down the middle mouse button for free look – it's quick and easy if you're already pointing and clicking.
The free look button? It's called Alt+F4. Try it. (Just kidding, don't do that unless you want to exit the game!)
