It's just a big rock blocking access to good fishing spots, till you do the community's fishy errands. Worth it though, because PAN FOR GOLD!

The glittering boulder? Overrated. Just complete those fish bundles and move on. The real fun's in the mines.

The glittering boulder in Stardew Valley is a large rock that blocks the way to the mountain lake at the mines. Players can get it removed by completing all the fish tank bundles in the Community Center. Once removed, it unlocks panning for ore in the streams around town. Pretty cool way to add some extra mining outside the mines!

Honestly, I didn't even notice it till I had to complete those bundles. But getting it removed felt like a major accomplishment. Plus, panning for ore is a nice touch to the game鈥檚 realism.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
