You might be surprised, but the most expensive non-holo Pokemon card is the 1st Edition Shadowless Pikachu. This little yellow guy doesn't need to shine with holo to be worth a lot. Its rarity and the nostalgia factor push its value sky-high, especially in mint condition. Remember, the value of Pokémon cards can vary wildly based on condition and market demand, so always double-check the latest listings if you've got one!

Honestly, talking about the most expensive non-holo card and not mentioning the Shadowless 1st Edition Pikachu is almost criminal. People pay top dollar for that card. But, if we're being real, sometimes it's more about the hunt and the history than the holographic sparkle. Old or rare cards, even without the holo, can hold incredible value to collectors.

Pikachu, no contest. Who needs holo when you're the face of Pokémon, right?

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
