Oh boy, you've hit jackpot curiosity! The most expensive card in the Pokemon TCG universe is the Pikachu Illustrator card. Only a handful of these were ever made for a special contest in Japan back in the '90s. If you've got one lying around, you're sitting on a goldmine because they've sold for over $200,000 at auctions!

Pokemon GO doesn't use physical Pokemon cards, so you can't really assign a monetary value to them in the game.

Actually, it's not all about Pikachu Illustrator, folks! Don't forget about the first edition Shadowless Charizard. While it might not reach the crazy heights of the Illustrator, a mint condition one can easily fetch up to $300,000 or more. So, if Pikachu isn't in your deck, check if this fiery dragon is!

In Pokemon GO, there's actually no such thing as trading or selling Pokemon cards. The game focuses on catching, training, and battling virtual Pokemon.

Eh, while those cards are pricey, it all depends on condition and rarity. A card's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it. Just my two cents.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
