You can usually trade a Turtle for a good Legendary pet like a Unicorn or a Dragon.
From my experience, I traded my Turtle for a Neon Unicorn, which was a pretty great deal!
Hot take: Turtles are worth less now since the Aussie Egg is out of the game. More like high-end Ultra-Rare.
