Skip the 'Three-Tails' Arc (Ep. 89-112) if you're short on time. It's tangential and has little impact on the main plot.

In my experience, you can skip 'The Twelve Guardian Ninja' Arc (Ep. 54-71) and not miss anything crucial. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I'd recommend skipping the 'Power' Arc (Ep. 290-295). It tries to squeeze in a story that doesn't quite fit with the rest.
