First thing, don't panic! Gently dab the cards with a soft, absorbent towel to remove as much water as possible. Then, lay them flat on a dry towel away from direct sunlight. Placing a book or a light weight on top can help them dry flat. Avoid using a hair dryer or any direct heat, as this can cause warping.

Honestly, sometimes it's best to just sleeve them up and move on, especially if they're common cards. Not every battle's worth fighting.

Rice. It's not just for phones. Stick your damp cards in a container of rice overnight. Rice helps to absorb moisture and should help in drying out your cards more thoroughly. Just make sure to clean off any rice dust afterwards!

Protip: Use silica gel packets instead of rice if you've got them. They're better at absorbing moisture and you won't risk getting rice stuck in your cards.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
