Star Shards in Stardew Valley are pretty cool! You can donate them to the Museum to help fill it up. If you've already done that, then you can sell them for some extra cash. They go for a good amount of gold, so they're worth picking up when you find them!

Just sell them, honestly. After you've donated one to the Museum, they're just taking up space. Easy money!

Star Shards can actually be a neat decoration if you're into that. I kept one in my farmhouse just because it looks cool. But yeah, museum first, then sell any extras for that sweet, sweet gold.
