As someone who owns both, I can tell you MK XL is just MK X with all additional content bundled in. Go for XL if you want all the characters!
MK XL is the expanded version of MK X – it includes all the Kombat Packs, extra characters, and skins. You get the full experience right out of the box.
Mortal Kombat X vs. XL? Just pay a bit more for XL and get all the extra goodies. Easy choice if you love the game!
