GTA Online officially hit the scene on October 1, 2013. It was like the virtual world exploded into this massive online playground where everyone wanted to be a part of the chaos and fun. If you've got GTA V, you've got GTA Online, since it comes with it. Basically, it's been the place to pull off heists with your friends or just cause some good old digital mayhem.

October 1st, 2013! Mark your calendars because that's the day GTA Online started letting players create their own brand of chaos in Los Santos. Short and sweet, that's the date you're looking for.

Gotta correct the record here, anyone saying GTA Online came before 2013's mistaken. It launched on October 1, 2013, as part of GTA V. Been a wild ride since day one with non-stop updates and new heists keeping it fresh!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
