When Do Wyverns Spawn in Terraria?
They'll only start bothering you after you've defeated the Wall of Flesh and entered Hardmode. Make sure you're way up high, near floating islands usually, cause that's their fav spot.

Wyverns in Terraria will start to show up once you're in Hardmode and hanging out in the sky biome, especially when you're at an altitude where Harpies spawn. So, get your gear ready and maybe build a sky bridge or platform to make spotting and battling them easier.
Honestly, just avoid Hardmode if you don't wanna deal with Wyverns. They're a pain and the sky isn't safe anymore. Simple.
