You should aim to leave the Hot and Cold island around level 1000 to 1100. At that point, you'll find other islands with more challenging quests and better rewards!
I left Hot and Cold at level 1000 and found the grind much smoother afterwards. Try it and see what works for you!
After you hit level 1100, you should definitely consider moving on from Hot and Cold. The quests there won't give you enough experience to progress efficiently anymore.
