When does the pacing of One Piece get bad?

The pacing in One Piece really starts to feel slower around the Dressrosa arc. This is where you'll notice episodes stretching out more, with lots of flashbacks and reaction shots. It's not all bad, since there's plenty of epic moments, but yeah, Dressrosa's when the pacing feels less sprint and more marathon.

Honestly, the pacing issues kick in hard with the anime post-timeskip, especially during the Punk Hazard and Dressrosa arcs. Toei Animation tends to drag out scenes to avoid catching up to the manga. If you're a manga reader, though, it's smooth sailing.

Pacing? Bad? In One Piece? Never!! Every second is a treasure, matey! But for real, some say Dressrosa, but I say it's all gold.

One Piece pacing gets challenging around the Dressrosa arc. It's like watching paint dry but if the paint was kinda epic.
