Where are the Shortcuts in Stardew Valley?
The main shortcut you'll want to keep an eye on in Stardew Valley is the minecart system. After completing the Boiler Room bundle in the Community Center (or buying it through the JojaMart route), you'll unlock the minecarts. These carts allow you to quickly travel between the Mines, the Bus Stop, the Quarry, and the Town. Another nifty shortcut is using the return scepter (if you're wealthy enough to afford it) which instantly teleports you back to your farm house.

Another shortcut, though not as instant, is the use of totems. There are several types like the farm totem, beach totem, mountains totem, and more, which teleport you to those respective locations. Keep in mind, crafting or finding these totems is necessary, but they save a ton of time.
Minecarts are overrated, just run fast. 10/10 would recommend.
