Just head to locations like Pleasant Park or Craggy Cliffs and interact with the NPCs there. They’re usually more than happy to join your squad for a bit of gold.

Easy! Find NPCs marked on your minimap and spend some Gold bars to hire them. Locations change, so keep exploring!

Pro tip from a seasoned player: Keep an eye out for the speech bubble icons on your map. That's usually where you can hire an NPC!

You can hire characters in Fortnite by approaching certain NPCs on the map and paying them with in-game gold. Look for characters like Jonesy the First at Pleasant Park or Fishstick in Craggy Cliffs.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
