Honestly, just keep an eye out for the big floating islands with anchor pods and you'll know you're there!
Just go west or southwest from the Aurora. Dive deep, and you'll hit the Grand Reef sooner or later!
To find the Grand Reef, follow the abandoned Lifepod 7 signal. It's surrounded by blue, glowing orbs and unique flora.
I found it by swimming southwest from my lifepod and going deeper until I hit about 250 meters. Good luck!
