They're donated, plain and simple. Folks looking to declutter or those who've outgrown their collection might drop off boxes of them at Goodwill, not knowing the value some of those cards could have.

Goodwill gets their Pokemon cards from donations! People clean out their attics, find their old collections, and donate them, not realizing the goldmine they might be sitting on. It's all about someone's childhood treasure becoming another person's thrift store find.

Donations, of course! But let's be real, sometimes it feels like there's a secret Pokemon trainer retiring and choosing Goodwill as their PokeStop for all their rare finds.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
