lol, North Yankton is GTA's Area 51 - can't get there whenever you want. It's only for certain story moments. Basically, it's out of bounds!

North Yankton isn't part of the main GTA 5 map that you can just fly or drive to during normal gameplay. It's a fictional location based on North Dakota/Minnesota. You visit it during specific missions only, like "Prologue" and "Bury the Hatchet." So, no road trips to North Yankton whenever you feel like it, unfortunately.

You're outta luck if you wanna explore North Yankton on a whim. It's not a part of the open-world map. It's mission-exclusive. Kind of a bummer, I know.

Just to throw in my two cents, but trying to get to North Yankton outside of those missions is a waste of time. It's not like the main map where you can roam around.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
