Short answer: San Andreas IS the map. It’s the whole shebang in GTA 5, complete with cities, deserts, mountains, and beaches. Basically, if you're in the game, you're in San Andreas.

San Andreas in GTA 5 isn't a separate location, but rather the entire state where the game takes place! It’s inspired by Southern California and includes Los Santos (standing in for Los Angeles), Blaine County, and a whole lot of other places to cause chaos in. So if you're looking for San Andreas, congrats, you're already there the moment you boot up the game!

Everyone knows San Andreas is the whole map, but I swear, flying over it at night, especially around Los Santos... it's pure magic. Feels just like real-life SoCal, minus the traffic jams.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
