The train in Stardew Valley passes through the northern part of the map. You'll find it by heading to the Railroad, which becomes accessible after the earthquake on the 3rd of Summer of your first year. It's a neat little event to catch if you're lucky!

Up north! After an earthquake shakes things up on Summer 3, the Railroad area opens. That's where and when trains do their choo-choo thing.

Barely worth it IMO. Just adds a bit of background scenery. Focus on your farm instead.
