Yuji Itadori actually doesn't appear in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 because it's a prequel story! Jujutsu Kaisen 0 focuses on Yuta Okkotsu and his own trials. Yuji only steps in when the main series starts, so no Yuji in 0, folks!

Yuji's on a secret vacation, lol jk ?. Seriously though, he's not in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 because that movie's a backstory for Yuta Okkotsu, not him. Yuji's time to shine comes later in the main series.
