Just go to eBay, look at the sold listings. Quick and dirty way to get a sense of what people are actually paying.

Don't forget about local card shops! I took some of my collection down to the shop downtown, and the guy gave me great insights into current values and rarity. Plus, it's cool to support local businesses.
