TBH, finding a helicopter can sometimes feel like you're on a wild goose chase. But once you know where to look (LSPD rooftops, hello!), it's like they start popping up everywhere.
You want a chopper? Easy peasy! First head to Los Santos International Airport. There's always a Maverick waiting for you in one of the hangars. If you're feeling adventurous, sneak into the Easter Basin Naval Station in San Fierro. Be careful though, that place is crawling with military personnel. For those who enjoy a view, check out the top of the tallest building in Downtown Los Santos. There's a Sparrow just chilling there, ready for you to take for a spin.
Los Santos police stations are helicopter gold mines. Trust me, snagged my first chopper there and felt like the king of San Andreas.
