From my experience, the best place to gather bones is definitely the Black Forest's Burial Chambers. Those skeletons almost always have some bones or even bone fragments!

Check out the Meadows at night or misty areas—skeletal remains often pop up there. Just don’t get ambushed while scavenging!

You can find bones in Valheim by exploring the Black Forest biome, specifically in Burial Chambers. Smack those skeletons, and they'll drop plenty of bones!
