You can find deep mushrooms in the Blood Kelp Zones, which are located between 300-600 meters deep. Look for dark, eerie areas with glowing red kelp and you'll spot them!

I usually find my deep mushrooms in the Lost River biome. Just make sure you have a good source of oxygen and a Seamoth or Prawn Suit.
