Ah, the elusive Charizard! You can find Charizard by evolving a Charmander (25 Candy) to Charmeleon, and then Charmeleon (100 Candy) to Charizard. Or look out for Charizard raids—defeating one gives you the chance to catch it directly!

I caught my Charizard during a special event. Keep an eye on in-game events and Community Days when spawns for certain Pokémon increase, including Charmander!

Charizard has been featured in community days before, so be sure to participate in those as getting one is easier!

Hot take: Trading with a friend who already has a Charizard could be your best bet.

Hot take: Just keep walking around until you find a Charmander and evolve it. Patience is key, trainers!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
