Oh boy, step into the nostalgia! The 1999 Pokemon cards that are worth a pretty penny include the first edition Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur. If your Charizard has the shadowless border and it's in mint condition, you're looking at a small fortune. Don't forget the holographic cards either – those are like gold in the Poke-world!

Not just the big three (Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur)! Keep an eye out for the 1st Edition shadowless Pikachu (especially the Red Cheeks variant), it can fetch a nice sum. And it's not just the Pokemon; some Trainer cards and holographic energy cards from 1999 are also surprisingly valuable.

Honestly, it's mostly about condition. A 1999 card could be Charizard or Pikachu but if it's all beat up, don't expect to retire early. Still, keep those cards safe!

Shadowless Charizard or go home. That's the real money maker from '99.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
