GTA San Andreas deserves a mention too! It might not be as huge in terms of square miles when compared to GTA 5, but the diversity in its map - from cities like Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas, to countryside areas and even a desert! - offers a massive variety in gameplay and exploration.
