Ngl, Julius Novachrono's death hit hard, but then he pulled an Uno reverse card and came back. Aside from him, most significant characters seem to have the luck of the gods on their side.
A couple of notable characters meet their end in Black Clover. For instance, the Wizard King Julius Novachrono meets a tragic fate during the battle against Patolli but later makes a comeback due to his unique time magic. Another character is Fuegoleon Vermillion, who didn't exactly die, but his severe injuries shook the Clover Kingdom. There are a few others who face death, but you'll have to watch to get the full emotional rollercoaster!
Most of the main characters survive all sorts of chaos. Julius is the big one who 'dies' but comes back. No big spoilers here!
